After hearing that the forest home website was “down” while the Sandals kids were at camp, I decided to take a look for myself. When I went to their site I saw a message on their site stating “our server is down.” Now, I know better than that - because if their server was down, then I wouldn’t be seeing anything. I could tell right away that their website had actually been hacked, so I took it upon myself to “unhack” it for them. Unfortunately, it keeps getting “rehacked” every couple minutes, so my fixes do not last long. However, for your convenience, I have copied the links to view photos and placed them below:
Dylan started preschool today. Doesn’t he look like such a big kid already? In one week he will be turning 3. I cannot believe how much he has changed in this past year.
It was really cool getting to be there to drop him off. Although, Amy was definitely more nervous about his first day of school than he was.
What were you doing this day (May 15th) in the year 2000?
I was living in a townhouse in a community called “Loving Homes Greens” (yeah, I know it sounds like a retirement community, but it’s not).
I was also attending Sandals Church back when they met at the VCC building, back when VCC was Victoria Community Church before it moved and changed names to The Grove.
This isn’t actually from that day, but around that time, I was working on my golf game.
We got Dylan this Jeep for Christmas last year, and he has always had trouble steering it. Finally, on Saturday its like a lightbulb switch on. He can now steer it all by himself. He has almost figured out the concept of reverse, but usually forgets how to switch it from reverse to forward. For the first time ever, I did not have to walk along side doing the steering.
Update: the delivery was very quick and Delaney arrived at 2:17am. Weighing 7lbs 10oz and 19 3/4″ long. We should be back home with baby on Sunday morning.
Thank you all for your prayers. I just posted some pics on flickr so check the link above.
Most of you have probably heard by now that Amy is being induced Friday April 25th. “But I don’t think you will make it until then” says her doctor. I too am guessing that Delaney will decide to get things rolling a little early - probably around 11 PM on Tuesday evening. We will find out very soon.
This the phrase that we hear at least 10 times per day. Dylan loves his Papa, but he really, really loves papa’s Maytag Toy Racecar. My dad loves working on micro-cars and he rebuilt this one. Just recently my dad asked if we wouldn’t mind borrowing his car since they are out of garage space. And that is when Dylan fell in love with the car. We go on several rides per week (and on the weekends several times per day).
